What They Hurt My Daughter, So I Destroy Them is about
Li Yunshu, chairwoman of Shengning Group, discovers that He Xiaoyang, a secret her husband He Yanqiu — the live-in son-in-law — has hidden for twenty years, is the culprit who pushed their daughter off a tall building. While biding her time to investigate, she exposes her husband’s crime of embezzling 120 million yuan from the group through companies under Liu Manshu’s name.
They Hurt My Daughter, So I Destroy Them is a 81-episode vertical short drama from HappyShort, built around marriage drama and secret identity.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for marriage drama, the payoff is a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned. On top of that: waiting for the truth about who the lead really is to come out.
The whole series takes roughly 2–3 hours, so it's an easy binge.
