What The Pea Sprout Warned Me About the Famine is about
Bullied by a cruel noble consort, a lowly palace maid discovers she can hear plants speak, warning her of a deadly locust plague in thirty days. Teaming up with a time-traveler armed with modern farming tech and secret supplies, she uses the royal gardens as cover to build an underground food reserve.
iDrama released it as 62 bite-size episodes mixing second chance and secret identity, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for second chance, the payoff is a lead who knows how it went wrong last time and plays it differently. On top of that: waiting for the truth about who the lead really is to come out.
Plan on roughly 1–2 hours from the first episode to the finale.
