What Her Paintings Foretell Fate is about
Melody, a mute girl who can foresee disasters through her paintings, is adopted by Arthur, chairman of the Blackwood Group, and his wife. One after another she predicts crises—a bridge collapse, a fatal fall at a construction site—saving the family time and again. But her uncle Ambrose, coveting control of the group, strikes at her relentlessly. In agony, Arthur sends Melody away to shield her.
