The DramaNext guide
What The Stray Cat Marshal is about
Lin Yi, an overworked office worker, dies from overtime and is reborn as a lame, abandoned stray cat. With the calm wits of an adult human, he earns his first safe shelter by rescuing a child trapped in a pit. Gradually, he unites cat clans, recruits dog allies and tames crows to build a massive animal legion.
It runs 70 short episodes on HappyShort and leans on second chance and family secrets tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
Watch it for a lead who knows how it went wrong last time and plays it differently. On top of that: the kids and family ties that pull the leads back together.
The whole series takes roughly 1–3 hours, so it's an easy binge.
