The DramaNext guide
What Tangled in Desire is about
Elena grew up in the slums. She almost dropped out—until a wealthy man named Arthur paid her tuition. Years later, she‘s a university lecturer. Then Arthur proposes. She says yes out of gratitude. She becomes the stepmother of his son, Julian. But she doesn’t know Julian is her former student. And Julian doesn‘t know his secret crush is now his stepmother. Arthur asks Elena to tutor Julian. Julian sees his chance.
It runs 36 short episodes on StarShort and leans on billionaire, secret identity and campus tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead. On top of that: waiting for the truth about who the lead really is to come out.
The whole series takes about 43–79 minutes, so it's an easy binge.
