Jailer of the Exiled Maidens

Chen Wang, a modern wage slave, dies from overwork and transmigrates into a prison guard in an ancient women’s jail. As the Great Xuan Dynasty collapses, he leads thirty stunning female convicts to break out of the imperial prison. They flee by boat, surviving tsunamis and giant sharks against all odds, before drifting to an uncharted desert island.

HappyShort released it as 80 bite-size episodes mixing revenge and second chance, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.

Watch it for the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: a lead who knows how it went wrong last time and plays it differently.

The whole series takes roughly 2–3 hours, so it's an easy binge.
