What The Serpent's Contract Bride is about
Lily, a female journalist full of justice, transforms into a socialite and infiltrates the underground black market for a luxurious dinner party in search of the truth behind the disappearance of her undercover police brother. Unexpectedly, he accidentally entered the restricted area and was caught on the spot by the underworld leader Sasha, whose neck was covered in venomous snake tattoos.
It runs 30 short episodes on CubeTV and leans on marriage drama, contract relationship and secret identity tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned. On top of that: the moment a deal stops being just a deal.
At about 36–66 minutes in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
