The DramaNext guide
What The Legendary Father Returns is about
Ten years ago, Raymond Stone’s eldest daughter was killed by his ex-wife and her lover. Overwhelmed by rage, he murdered them and was imprisoned. After his release, he finds his younger daughter Julia Stone, who sees him as her mother’s killer. Unable to tell the truth, he secretly protects her. When Howard Ramsey’s family abuses Julia, Raymond steps in with great power.
It runs 74 short episodes on FunDrama and leans on revenge, marriage drama and secret identity tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned.
The whole series takes roughly 1–3 hours, so it's an easy binge.
