What The Freshman Fake is about
Maya is just an ordinary college freshman with an extraordinary musical talent she's kept hidden from the world. Under the fake name "Mason," she secretly uploads her original songs online, never expecting Ethan, the most popular guy on campus, to become her biggest fan.
ReelShort released it as 30 bite-size episodes mixing secret identity, campus and romance, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for secret identity, the payoff is waiting for the truth about who the lead really is to come out. On top of that: rivalries and first love in a school setting.
Plan on about 36–66 minutes from the first episode to the finale.
On ReelShort it has 278.9K views, so plenty of people have already watched it.
