The DramaNext guide
What The Desperate Journey Home is about
After a trucker spent a decade paying off two houses, his parents gave both to his older brother, dumping his ailing uncle on him. Desperate to fund his uncle's care, he sold his truck—only for his parents to steal the money for his brother's wedding. Furious, he storms the reception for justice. But after a fall restores his uncle's memory, the supposedly crazy man turns out to be a powerful billionaire chairman.
It runs 70 short episodes on iDrama and leans on CEO romance, billionaire and marriage drama tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
Watch it for the power gap between the leads and who ends up holding the cards. On top of that: the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead.
