The DramaNext guide
What Rise Of The Scorned Contract Worker is about
Adrian Cole, a lowly contract worker, ranks first in company performance for eight consecutive years—yet five times Vice President Claire has stolen his chance at a permanent position. Humiliated past endurance, he resigns in fury and joins the Apex Group, prompting twenty billion in client funds to withdraw en masse and driving First Capital to the brink of collapse.
It runs 70 short episodes on HappyShort and leans on CEO romance, contract relationship and campus tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
Watch it for the power gap between the leads and who ends up holding the cards. On top of that: the moment a deal stops being just a deal.
Plan on roughly 1–3 hours from the first episode to the finale.
