The DramaNext guide
What Meta Love is about
Dong-gun (28), a model whose career is on the decline, lives with his girlfriend Hyunjung (25), a successful live-streamer. To escape his real-world insecurities, he logs into the metaverse 'Amore' and begins a secret affair with an AI character named Luna. Donggun activates a hacked "Free Will Mode" for Luna, causing her to develop human-like emotions and independent thought, and their relationship deepens.
It runs 50 short episodes on DramaBox and leans on revenge, werewolf and fantasy tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: pack politics, mate bonds and a heroine who refuses to stay small.
At roughly 1–2 hours in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
