What Contract with the Abyss The Demon CEO's Substitute Bride is about
Intern Serena is forced by her vicious nominal sister Victoria to sign a substitute-bride contract in exchange for her adoptive mother's surgery fees, marrying Lucian, the rumored brutal and bloodthirsty monster CEO. In truth, Lucian is the pureblood demon lord who rules the underworld. Serena survives, and the rare blood hidden inside her can heal Lucian's abyss curse.
DramaBox released it as 60 bite-size episodes mixing CEO romance, billionaire and marriage drama, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for CEO romance, the payoff is the power gap between the leads and who ends up holding the cards. On top of that: the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead.
The whole series takes roughly 1–2 hours, so it's an easy binge.
