What Immortal Taxi Driver is about
Li Qinghou, a taxi driver, is a reclusive loose immortal. His identity is exposed when his daughter appears on a dating show. Live-stream cameras capture him subduing a dragon, restoring youth and turning stone into gold, yet the crowd mocks him as a fraud. When the demon lord Rahu breaks free from seal, Li Qinghou obliterates him with a snap of his fingers.
HappyShort released it as 45 bite-size episodes mixing fantasy and secret identity, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for fantasy, the payoff is a world with its own rules and a lead who learns to bend them. On top of that: waiting for the truth about who the lead really is to come out.
Plan on roughly 1–2 hours from the first episode to the finale.
