What Forborne Devotion is about
Ordinary girl Ye Xinxin crosses paths with Lu Jiuchen on a rainy night and later conceives boy-and-girl twins. Burdened by family debts, she lands in danger while scraping by for a living. Lu Jiuchen saves her and takes her home to care for her. His childhood sweetheart Qin Shuang grows consumed by jealousy. Pretending to agree to an engagement, she repeatedly schemes to harm Ye Xinxin.
