What False Coma, Unexpected Night is about
Jiang Jiao is forced by her adoptive parents to marry in her younger sister’s stead. Her groom, Li Jingxuan, is said to be a vegetative patient, and the marriage is arranged for a hefty betrothal gift. On the eve of the wedding, her adoptive father tries to sell her secretly for profit, but the buyer never shows up. Meanwhile, Li Jingxuan is poisoned by his stepmother and stepbrother.
False Coma, Unexpected Night is a 90-episode vertical short drama from HappyShort, built around marriage drama, contract relationship and secret identity.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned. On top of that: the moment a deal stops being just a deal.
At roughly 2–3 hours in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
