What Aloof is about
Lin Wanyi, the president of Lin Group, came in person with the intention of breaking off the engagement with Ye Jun, the Dragon Lord of Daxia. However, the real purpose of her trip was not due to personal emotional entanglement, but because of a huge crisis facing the Lin family.
HappyShort released it as 83 bite-size episodes mixing CEO romance, fantasy and secret identity, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for CEO romance, the payoff is the power gap between the leads and who ends up holding the cards. On top of that: a world with its own rules and a lead who learns to bend them.
The whole series takes roughly 2–3 hours, so it's an easy binge.
