The DramaNext guide
What Betrayal of the Factory Mentor is about
A crisis hit Xinyuan Factory: machine explosions and defective screws. To save the firm, Shi Qi reluctantly tracked down her mentor Lin Dahai, whose contact she had deleted. Yet instead of gratitude, she listened to overseas-educated expert Chen Xinyue and humiliated and framed Lin Dahai repeatedly. Enduring humiliation, Lin Dahai resolved the crisis with superb craftsmanship.
It runs 46 short episodes on HappyShort and leans on revenge and campus tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: rivalries and first love in a school setting.
At roughly 1–2 hours in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
