The DramaNext guide
What The Shadow Don is about
The underworld of New Harbor is divided among four crime families. When Vincent Valenti, the don of the Valenti family, is forced to leave due to an overseas crisis, he finds his long-lost twin brother Leo to impersonate him. Leo was once a supermarket cashier living in obscurity—until he was betrayed by his girlfriend, which pushed him into the dark game.
It runs 70 short episodes on DramaBox and leans on revenge, secret identity and family secrets tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: waiting for the truth about who the lead really is to come out.
At roughly 1–3 hours in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
