What The Mutant Mating Shelter is about
Eighteen years after the nuclear war, the surface is contaminated and men have nearly disappeared. Nate lives in a sealed shelter with the three women who raised him: Vamira the vampire, Zena the zombie nurse, and Seraphina the lamia. The “health checks” that begin when he comes of age are not health checks at all. A screen displays his BREEDING SCORE, and the three women agree that whoever reaches 100 percent first will carry his child.
