What The Beast I Chose Over the God is about
Astrid loved the storm god Magni for ten years and saved his life, but he believed Selma did and kept Astrid as her shield. So Astrid swaps grooms with Selma. Then Magni sides with Selma and strikes Astrid with lightning, killing the baby he never knew she carried. She weds the Beast King, who treats her like a queen.
