Twelve-year-old Mila is locked in a basement and abandoned for seven days. Just when hunger and darkness close in, an unplugged, rusted refrigerator begins to hum. Warm food appears. Gentle voices call her “sweetheart.” They claim to be her real parents from another world—and promise to come for her at noon. But when the fridge opens, something reaches through first.

Shortmax released it as 25 bite-size episodes mixing romance, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.

The draw here is the push and pull between two leads who shouldn't work but do.
