What Crown of Ashes is about
Dragon princess Claire is betrayed and killed by her lover Oliver for a low-born dragon Stella. Reborn before her spouse selection, she rejects the greedy pair. She chooses loyal guard Vince instead. At the deadly Lightning Trial, Oliver’s greed ruins him and Stella. Vince passes the trial with her support, becomes Dragon Emperor, and gifts Claire a phoenix tree to heal her grief, gaining a happy ending.
Crown of Ashes is a 20-episode vertical short drama from VibeShort, built around revenge, second chance and fantasy.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for revenge, the payoff is the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: a lead who knows how it went wrong last time and plays it differently.
Plan on about 24–44 minutes from the first episode to the finale.
