What Born to Be Me is about
Eve, a clone marked A-01, awakens in an underground Manhattan lab and learns she was created as a spare organ donor. Carrying all the memories of Elena, a wealthy heiress, she escapes Elena’s cold fiancé, Adrian, who hunts her down as stolen property. Eve soon discovers that Elena has spent years faking a coma to gather evidence of the Adrian family’s crimes. Once rivals, the two women join forces to take down Adrian and destroy his vast clone army. In the end, the clones regain their free will, and Eve boldly declares that she is no one’s replacement—she is uniquely herself.
