Immortal Child Reincarnated as Yellow Dog

In the late 1970s, immortal boy Fubao is banished to earth for sleeping in, reborn as a tiny yellow puppy and almost cooked. He escapes and finds Su Zhixia, labeled a jinx, abandoned by family and living in a run-down straw hut. Using leftover immortal magic, Fubao chases away misfortune, hunts game, forecasts weather and clears farmland for her.

HappyShort released it as 80 bite-size episodes mixing second chance, fantasy and romance, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.

Watch it for a lead who knows how it went wrong last time and plays it differently. On top of that: a world with its own rules and a lead who learns to bend them.

At roughly 2–3 hours in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
