The DramaNext guide
What You Picked the Wrong Heiress is about
Eighteen-year-old scholarship student Sloane Reed lives interdependently with her cancer-stricken mother, Elaine. On the surface, she is the daughter of a fish market stall owner, but in reality, she is the never-acknowledged illegitimate daughter of Marcus Voss, the crime boss of Silverhaven.
You Picked the Wrong Heiress is a 61-episode vertical short drama from ReelShort, built around CEO romance, billionaire and campus.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for CEO romance, the payoff is the power gap between the leads and who ends up holding the cards. On top of that: the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead.
At roughly 1–2 hours in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
On ReelShort it has 611.1K views, so plenty of people have already watched it.
