What You Chose Him, Why Cry? is about
Gu Heng, CEO of Hengtian Group, gave up his career to be a househusband, only to be betrayed by his wife Lin Qingyue, who cheated on him and secretly made him infertile. He finally takes back everything he gave her, leaving her filled with regret.
It runs 81 short episodes on HappyShort and leans on revenge, CEO romance and marriage drama tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
Watch it for the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: the power gap between the leads and who ends up holding the cards.
The whole series takes roughly 2–3 hours, so it's an easy binge.
