What Waterboy: Second Down is about
Three years after Kaden broke Donovan’s heart to save his NFL dreams, superstar quarterback Donovan Miller is back — and signed with the agency where Kaden is barely surviving as an intern. Donovan says he came to Boston for revenge… but the tension between them says otherwise. In a world that could destroy Donovan’s career if the truth comes out, falling for each other again might cost them everything.
It runs 65 short episodes on ReelShort and leans on revenge and second chance tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: a lead who knows how it went wrong last time and plays it differently.
At roughly 1–2 hours in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
On ReelShort it has 12.5M views, so plenty of people have already watched it.
