What Under One Roof, Close to Your Heart is about
On his 16th birthday, Pierre Frost loses his mother and stepfather in a car accident. He then goes to live with his stepfather's daughter, Shawna Ash, who becomes his guardian at 22. Over the next two years, as they live under the same roof, Pierre realizes he has feelings for her. But before anything can happen between them, she leaves.
It runs 71 short episodes on Reelife and leans on second chance, secret identity and romance tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for second chance, the payoff is a lead who knows how it went wrong last time and plays it differently. On top of that: waiting for the truth about who the lead really is to come out.
At roughly 1–3 hours in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
