Bachelor Zhang Dashan gets a mystical dog, Wangcai, from an immortal. Wangcai, a descendant of Heaven-Devouring Beast, wears a god-binding chain. Thief Chen Shi's gang steals him and unlocks the chain. Demonic Wangcai wreaks revenge until Zhang Dashan restrains him. Bureau 749 recruits them both.

Is it worth watching?
If you came for revenge, the payoff is the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: a world with its own rules and a lead who learns to bend them.
