A paladin, a noble, and an elven prince are cursed into stone. The witch heroine saves them by signing a cursed marriage contract: if they refuse to marry her in five years, they turn back to stone permanently. She protects them for five years, but the forest witch disguises herself as a weak woman and turns them against her. They betray her, take her staff, and break her heart.
