The DramaNext guide
What The Tyrant's Bride-to-be is about
Hana doesn't like the predictable happy ending while reading a web novel, and yells at the air in anger. All of a sudden, the author's message appears on the screen, saying "Make your own ending if you don't like mine." , and Hana finds herself turned into a female lead in the novel. She chooses to be a lover of the villain instead of the male lead to survive, and struggles to reach a happy ending.
It runs 51 short episodes on Vigloo and leans on billionaire, marriage drama and fantasy tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead. On top of that: a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned.
The whole series takes roughly 1–2 hours, so it's an easy binge.
