What The Long-Awaited Encounter is about
Six years ago, on the day of her coming-of-age ceremony, Janet Smith, the eldest daughter of the Smith family, found herself drugged by her father, Neo Smith, and her sister, Roxy Smith. In a daze, she unwittingly spent the night with Yael Lawley, the CEO of Lawley Corp. This scandal orchestrated by her own family led to Janet's expulsion from her home. Now, years have passed.
The Long-Awaited Encounter is a 93-episode vertical short drama from DramaBox, built around revenge, CEO romance and billionaire.
Is it worth watching?
Watch it for the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: the power gap between the leads and who ends up holding the cards.
At roughly 2–3 hours in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
