What The Honest Restaurant Owner is about
Jiang Ning, a small restaurant owner, is forced by her landlord Wang Defu’s unreasonable rent hike. She promptly moves her shop to a cheaper premise across the street and wins customers’ trust with honest service and great cooking skills. Faced with slander from the landlord couple, she fights back by opening her kitchen to the public and gathering evidence. She unites other tenants to expose their misdeeds, sues them after their malicious sabotage, and sees them held legally accountable. Her restaurant gains widespread fame, and she gets a chance to open new branches, starting a new chapter for her business.
