The DramaNext guide
What The Golden Cage is about
Ryu—a world-adored K-pop icon and man of absolute power. When unknown actress Chloe enters his secret penthouse, a dangerous bond begins. Sensing her hidden instincts, he binds her to a secret contract of total submission, ruling her life with obsessive wealth. When a vengeful figure from his past nearly kills her, Ryu shatters. At last they shed dominance and submission for a love that is real.
Vigloo released it as 51 bite-size episodes mixing contract relationship, secret identity and romance, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is the moment a deal stops being just a deal. On top of that: waiting for the truth about who the lead really is to come out.
Plan on roughly 1–2 hours from the first episode to the finale.
