The DramaNext guide
What The General’s Lady Returns Modern is about
Vivian Ashford, the eldest legitimate daughter of a distinguished military family, dies in battle and reincarnates as the contract wife of Adrian Atwood, a wealthy tycoon. They agree to divorce after one year, in return for an apartment and a job. She stands up to her cheating ex and wins over her younger siblings. Meanwhile, Adrian gradually falls for her and sets out to win her heart.
FunDrama released it as 81 bite-size episodes mixing CEO romance, billionaire and marriage drama, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for CEO romance, the payoff is the power gap between the leads and who ends up holding the cards. On top of that: the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead.
Plan on roughly 2–3 hours from the first episode to the finale.
