What She Was Never Just a Wife（DUBBED） is about
Claire Hayes is seen as the useless, shopaholic wife among the eight daughters-in-law. While the others are Wall Street dealmakers and venture capital elites, she only buys bags in Beverly Hills. No one knows her true identity. When international giants move in to destroy the family business, the chairman is cornered and forced to surrender his seat. Then Claire steps up. Her family will not be bullied.
It runs 80 short episodes on Reelife and leans on CEO romance, billionaire and marriage drama tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for CEO romance, the payoff is the power gap between the leads and who ends up holding the cards. On top of that: the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead.
Plan on roughly 2–3 hours from the first episode to the finale.
