What Reborn as a Virus is about
Reborn as a sentient virus, the protagonist bonds with campus goddess Madeline, becoming her contract beast. As conspiracies emerge and a foreign spy is exposed, Madeline uncovers the secret behind her parents' disappearance...
It runs 69 short episodes on Shortmax and leans on contract relationship, second chance and secret identity tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is the moment a deal stops being just a deal. On top of that: a lead who knows how it went wrong last time and plays it differently.
The whole series takes roughly 1–3 hours, so it's an easy binge.
