Reap the Consequence

Song Sisi, a working woman, finds her demented mother dead from heatstroke after her brother Song Tao locks her in a car to please his mother-in-law. Devastated by the loss, she breaks with her brother and his wife. At their mother’s funeral, she takes Song Tao to court. She disowns him from the family tree and uses the law to make the unfilial brother pay for his crime.
