What Owned by the Mafia Twins: I’m No Longer Your Surrogate is about
Pearl is an orphan bought by the Moretti mafia family to serve its twin heirs, the brutal future family head Lucas and the crippled outcast Ethan. In her past life, Lucas poisoned her and discarded her body after using her as a secret surrogate, and only Ethan quietly retrieved her remains and buried her properly.
Owned by the Mafia Twins: I’m No Longer Your Surrogate is a 20-episode vertical short drama from Shortmax, built around second chance, secret identity and family secrets.
Is it worth watching?
Watch it for a lead who knows how it went wrong last time and plays it differently. On top of that: waiting for the truth about who the lead really is to come out.
The whole series takes about 24–44 minutes, so it's an easy binge.
