What Not one's Groom, But My Crown is about
Thirteen years ago, orphaned Micah Barton was saved from destitution by the immortal Master Vern. Now, returning from celestial cultivation in the Kunlun Mountains, his first act is to annul a forced engagement. He refuses to be a trophy husband—the wedding is off, or the dynasty will bear his name. A new legacy begins, forged by his own will.
Not one's Groom, But My Crown is a 66-episode vertical short drama from FunDrama, built around marriage drama and fantasy.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for marriage drama, the payoff is a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned. On top of that: a world with its own rules and a lead who learns to bend them.
Plan on roughly 1–2 hours from the first episode to the finale.
