The DramaNext guide
What My Wife Is a Mermaid is about
Ethan, a medical school graduate, returns to his hometown Siren Cove. Following an old legend, he brings home the mysterious woman Lorelei he found by the seashore. As eerie incidents keep happening, he slowly discovers that behind the mermaid folklore lies a horrifying truth of transnational human trafficking.
HappyShort released it as 70 bite-size episodes mixing marriage drama and campus, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
Watch it for a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned. On top of that: rivalries and first love in a school setting.
The whole series takes roughly 1–3 hours, so it's an easy binge.
How to watch it
