What My Secret Serpent Mate is about
In my past life, I sacrificed everything to raise a magnificent golden phoenix, only for him to betray me with my sister and leave me to die. Reborn on the day of the Pact Ceremony, I refuse to be their stepping stone again! Instead of the arrogant bird, I choose a dying, worthless black snake.
Shortmax released it as 28 bite-size episodes mixing revenge, billionaire and second chance, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for revenge, the payoff is the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead.
At about 34–62 minutes in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
