The DramaNext guide
What Love and Fortune in the 80s is about
Sophia Wright, a wealthy hair industry leader, travels back to the 1980s and becomes the "troublemaker" everyone dislikes. Her scientist husband once tried to divorce her, but now that she's determined to leave, he clings to her, saying, "Where would I find such a perfect wife?"
DramaWave released it as 74 bite-size episodes mixing billionaire, marriage drama and romance, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for billionaire, the payoff is the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead. On top of that: a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned.
At roughly 1–3 hours in total, it's quicker to finish than most full-length series.
