What I Left as a Nobody, Returned as a CEO is about
Claire Carter was raised by Walter Carter after he took her in as an orphan. But Brenda Carter constantly abused her and forced her to give up her place at Seavon Univ so her daughter, Tessa Carter, could attend. Six years later, Claire returns as a successful CEO, ready to reward her hometown. Everyone mistakes Tessa for the CEO, and she gladly steals Claire’s identity. But when Tessa abuses Walter for her own gain, the real CEO is already on her way home.
