What Emperor in Disguise: Judgment at the Banquet（DUBBED） is about
Before leaving his hometown, Liam Lambert promises his fiancée, Tanya Litt, that he will return and make her empress once he becomes emperor. Years later, after founding a new dynasty, he returns home disguised as a commoner. He discovers that Tanya has betrayed him and decided to marry the county magistrate’s son.
It runs 64 short episodes on Reelife and leans on revenge, secret identity and romance tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for revenge, the payoff is the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: waiting for the truth about who the lead really is to come out.
Plan on roughly 1–2 hours from the first episode to the finale.
