What Countdown to Disaster is about
Ethan, an ace pilot, gave up flying to work as an aircraft mechanic for his wife. After Flight 2587 crashed, all evidence pointed to him. His wife and colleague colluded to give false testimony, and he died unjustly. Reborn three hours before the crash, Ethan prepared evidence in advance, only to find it still tampered with. Drawing on his aviation expertise, he helped the captain save the flight.
Countdown to Disaster is a 115-episode vertical short drama from HappyShort, built around marriage drama and second chance.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned. On top of that: a lead who knows how it went wrong last time and plays it differently.
The whole series takes roughly 2–4 hours, so it's an easy binge.
