The DramaNext guide
What Cleanse the Dark is about
Five years ago, Nathan Harris’s wife betrayed him, his parents were killed, and his sister kidnapped, leaving his family destroyed. And he barely escaped with his life. Now, he returns, trained in martial arts, vowing to purge all evil. At a funeral, he single-handedly defeats assassins, rising to leader of the Dragon Lodge.
It runs 70 short episodes on FunDrama and leans on revenge, marriage drama and fantasy tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is the slow build to a payback that lands hard. On top of that: a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned.
Plan on roughly 1–3 hours from the first episode to the finale.
