The DramaNext guide
What Bound by Duty is about
Based on the novel by Cora Reilly. As the heir to the Chicago mafia, Dante is logical to a fault. The only thing Valentina has in common with him is being a widow. When Dante chooses her as his next wife, it's a business decision made by a man still haunted from losing the love of his life. But Valentina won't repeat the lovelessness of her first marriage.
It runs 69 short episodes on ReelShort and leans on billionaire, marriage drama and romance tropes, with each episode ending on a hook.
Is it worth watching?
The draw here is the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead. On top of that: a marriage that starts on the wrong foot and has to be earned.
Plan on roughly 1–3 hours from the first episode to the finale.
On ReelShort it has 16.4M views, so plenty of people have already watched it.
