The DramaNext guide
What Birthday Crash is about
On her birthday, Su Xiaoran, wealthy heiress and CEO of Canglan Group, buys a limited-edition Rolls-Royce as a gift for her mother-in-law. However, her husband Huo Xiaoyang gives the luxury car to his mistress Zhou Siyu instead. Driving the gifted car to the birthday banquet, Zhou Siyu crashes into Su Xiaoran. She insults and assaults Su Xiaoran, accidentally injuring the arriving mother-in-law as well.
HappyShort released it as 100 bite-size episodes mixing CEO romance, billionaire and marriage drama, made to watch on a phone in one sitting or a few.
Is it worth watching?
If you came for CEO romance, the payoff is the power gap between the leads and who ends up holding the cards. On top of that: the hidden-wealth reveals and the people who misjudged the lead.
The whole series takes roughly 2–4 hours, so it's an easy binge.
How to watch it
